To be successful in this role you need to have:

  • Industry experience – plumbing, bathrooms or similar
  • Experience with trade sales – pricing and quoting (advantageous)
  • Purchasing and stock control experience
  • Confidence to build relationships and offer solutions to customers
  • Great communication skills – both verbal and written
  • A great team player attitude and enjoy a busy environment
  • The nous to find your way around a computer and our software
  • An enthusiastic approach to contribute to the growth of our branch
  • A clean NZ driver’s licence – must be able to drive a manual too!

Most importantly you will be flexible and optimistic in nature and have proven reliability plus have a great sense of humour!

Do you want to work locally in Silverdale?

Our Silverdale branch wants a motivated person who enjoys working efficiently in a small, dynamic and great environment. This role covers all aspects of stock for our Branch; from receipting goods, stock to shelves, stock placement, relative documentation and administration, stocktakes, packaging and then despatch (sometimes helping out with the odd delivery). Previous experience doing similar work is ideal however a great attitude with a customer focus is essential. Plus you will need to be fit and healthy to enjoy the physical aspects of this role.

  • A good level of fitness and ability to lift heavy gear (if required)

  • An eye for detail and good memory recollection (where you’ve put things)
  • A full New Zealand driver’s license – must know how to drive a manual to help with the odd delivery
  • A fork hoist license – training can be provided
  • Great communication skills with an awesome customer focus
  • Enthusiasm and energy to contribute to our branch
  • Attitude – we believe it is everything!

  • Stocking shelves and upkeep of the warehouse
  • Keeping the yard and surrounding areas spic and span
  • Picking customer orders and despatch duties
  • Assisting with stock takes
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Deliveries when required
